A visit to Warehorne and Kenardington

We begin at Warehorne, a most picturesque village with a very fine church, at 2.00 pm. Kenardington, with its 1815 Thomas Elliot organ, follows at 3.00.

Note that Kenardington has an amazing early music series featuring performers of international standing. Here is the link to their 2023-4 programme:

Both churches are on the Saxon Shore Way, and if we are blessed with good weather it is a delightful walk from Ham Street, with its railway station on the Ashford/Eastbourne line, to Warehorne (it takes 30 mins or less). From Warehorne to Kenardington is about the same distance, or marginally longer, for those who don't mind missing the last bit of the Warehorne participation and/or the start of the Kenardington one. It's two miles round in the car by road.
